The Connect Centre Opens as the UK’s First Medical-Cannabis Innovation and Collaboration Hub
What We Do
About the Medcann Connect Centre
The Medcann Connect Centre is the UK’s first full-scale medical cannabis hub — a purpose-built, multi-use destination where patients, clinicians, researchers and industry come together under one roof. Located in London, our 3,000 sq ft Centre is designed to remove confusion and stigma, and to build practical, patient-centred infrastructure for cannabis-based medicines.
One place. Many purposes.
We unite the whole medical-cannabis ecosystem so people can access support, evidence and responsible services in a single, trusted environment:
Patient services (ground floor) — CPGUK Patient Group, Medcann Pharmacy and the official Storz & Bickel Volcano Bar (clinical education and patient resources).
Legal & travel support — Cannabis Advice Bureau and WeSureCann provide guidance with legal support and related matters including equality rights.
Brand activation Space — Showcase spaces for global leaders and innovators.
Media centre & media — Clinical programmes alongside Medcann Radio and The Cannabis Health Leaders Podcast.
Upper-floor collaboration hub — A dedicated workspace where academics and senior clinicians, licensed operators including clinics and pharmacy services co-design safer, evidence-based care.
This is not a social lounge or consumption space — it’s a professional, compliant centre focused on education, research and patient welfare. This is an eco-system for the sector in the UK.
Our mission
To connect every link in the medical cannabis chain — from patient to prescriber, from manufacturer to mentor — in one shared environment that inspires trust, transparency and transformation.
We are:
Patient-centred: real, on-site support and clear education.
Community-driven: bridging healthcare, legal, cultural and commercial interests.
Industry-powered: a showcase for the brands and innovations shaping care.
Future-focused: developing training, events and media that elevate standards and public understanding.
“Where others open lounges, we’re building infrastructure. The Medcann Connect Centre is the UK’s headquarters for medical cannabis progress.” — Nimesh Dave, founder, Medcann Pharmacy

Calming finishes and soft LED lighting in Medcann’s signature teal and green
Full accessibility (ramps, wide doors, accessible restrooms)
Comfortable seating, quiet zones and private meeting rooms for confidential consultations
Technology-enabled spaces with AV and high-speed internet for hybrid events and broadcasts
Educational wall displays on the endocannabinoid system, dosing, product safety and UK regulation
Everything is built to clinical standards and regulatory expectations — confidentiality, safety and professional governance are non-negotiable.
Why it matters
Since legal prescribing began in 2018, thousands of UK patients have accessed cannabis-based medicines but many still face confusion, variable standards and limited professional infrastructure. The Medcann Connect Centre fills that gap by:
Making complex science accessible through permanent exhibits and seminars
Creating spaces where clinicians, policymakers and patients can co-create standards and guidance
Hosting media and research that inform policy, practice and patient choices
We aim to turn fragmented conversations into coordinated progress — always with the patient at the centre.
“The Medcann Centre is not a cannabis space — it’s a patient support space. Cannabis is one tool, but care, education, and dignity are the purpose.”
What the space is really about
At its core, the Medcann Centre is about:
Human support, not just treatment
Time, listening, and explanation
Helping patients and families understand options, rights, and care pathways
Reducing isolation for people navigating serious illness
Creating dignity, calm, and community where patients often feel forgotten
It’s a place where patients can sit down, talk, learn, and feel supported — without pressure, stigma, or sales.
