🌟 CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY INITIATIVE 2025

CPGUK at the Brent Civic Centre in Wembley London

Supporting Vulnerable Families β€’ Empowering Patients β€’ Building Our Community

🎁 A Christmas Built on Humanity, Care & Community Support

This holiday season, the Medcann Connect Centre is launching one of our most meaningful community efforts to date: a volunteer-led initiative delivering 300 Christmas gift packs to vulnerable children, families, and seniors across London β€” alongside a free festive luncheon for 200 patients at our Centre.

At a time when many households are struggling with rising costs, social isolation, and limited support, we are bringing together volunteers, patients, families, and local partners to ensure that no one feels forgotten this Christmas.

This is community in action β€” and you’re warmly invited to be part of it.

❀ What We’re Delivering This Christmas

🎁 300 Christmas Gift Packs

Carefully prepared by volunteers, containing:
β€’ Toys and treats for children
β€’ Essentials and comfort items for seniors
β€’ Food items and warm accessories
β€’ Personalised Christmas notes

Β

Every pack is wrapped with dignity, love, and the message that the community still stands with them.

🍽 A Free Festive Luncheon for 200 Patients

Held at the Medcann Connect Centre, this special lunch brings patients together for:
β€’ A warm festive meal
β€’ Community connection
β€’ Friendly conversation
β€’ A safe, inclusive space
β€’ Support, information & wellbeing engagement

It is one of the few community-run Christmas lunches in the UK offered specifically for medical-cannabis patients, caregivers, and those facing hardship.

πŸ™Œ A Volunteer-Led Movement

This initiative is entirely powered by volunteers from:
β€’ CPGUK – Cannabis Patients Group UK
β€’ Medcann Connect Centre community members
β€’ Local families & supporters
β€’ Healthcare professionals
β€’ Patient advocates

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, united by one purpose: to support people who need it most.

Why This Matters

Across London and the UK, hundreds of families are facing Christmas without:
β€’ Enough food
β€’ Gifts for children
β€’ Social connection
β€’ Financial stability
β€’ Emotional or mental health support

The Medcann Connect Centre exists to offer support, safety, community, and dignity β€” not just during the year but especially during the holidays.

For many patients and families, this is the only Christmas warmth they will receive.

🏒 About the Medcann Connect Centre

Located in South London, the Medcann Connect Centre is the UK’s first multi-purpose cannabis patient hub β€” a place for:
β€’ Patient support
β€’ Healthcare navigation
β€’ Legal assistance
β€’ Education & resources
β€’ Community gatherings
β€’ Sector collaboration
β€’ Brand activations & industry engagement

The Centre is home to:
β€’ A CPGUK patient lounge
β€’ The UK’s only Storz & Bickel Volcano Bar
β€’ A marketplace featuring brands such as CCELL, British Cannabis, and Blazy Susan
β€’ Creative spaces for patient artwork, presentations and youth projects
β€’ The UK’s largest volunteer-run patient community initiative

This Christmas effort is one of many community-driven programmes we deliver year-round.
